Are you ready to start the week with another delicious and heathy dessert? Liliana Ferreira shares with us one thing that you cannot resist.
– 1 Plain solid yogurt
– 1 Medium frozen banana (125g)
– Soluble barley a.s. (as needed)
– 3 Maria biscuits or other biscuits with no added sugar
– Cocoa pips or powder low-fay cocoa a.s (as needed)
– 10 to 15g celery
The night before making this recipe, peel and slice a medium-sized ripe banana, place it in a bag and allow to freeze overnight.
Put the banana along with yoghurt and celery in a grinder or blender and mash it until you get a consistent mixture.
Prepare a medium cup of barley to soak the biscuits (it should not be too hot so not to dissolve the biscuits).
In an individual bowl, pour the banana cream/ice cream halfway down, dip two biscuits into the barley and place it on top. Display the remaining cream on top of the biscuits.
Scrape a Maria biscuit and decorate the bowl with it.
OPTIONAL: You can also decorate with cocoa pips or low-fat cocoa powder.
Keep it in the cold until the time it is served (can put in the deep-freezer or fridge, depending on each persons’ taste).
P.S The bananas should be very ripe because they make the dessert sweeter, making it unnecessary to add sugar/sweetener.
